Job Summary:

The Dental Lab Technician will be responsible for fabricating and repairing dental prosthetics and appliances based on dentist prescriptions. This role involves working closely with dental professionals to ensure accurate and high-quality dental products, including crowns, bridges, dentures, and orthodontic appliances.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and repair dental prosthetics and appliances, such as crowns, bridges, dentures, and retainers, according to dentist specifications.
• Utilize various dental lab equipment and materials, including casting machines, dental wax, and dental ceramics.
• Conduct precise measurements and impressions to ensure proper fit and function of dental appliances.
• Maintain and repair dental lab equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with dentists and other dental staff to review cases, clarify requirements, and ensure the highest standards of dental care.
• Maintain accurate records of lab work, including detailed documentation of materials and procedures used.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
• Stay current with advancements in dental technology and techniques to enhance lab practices.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a dental laboratory technology program or certification is preferred.
• Proven experience as a Dental Lab Technician or in a similar role in a dental or healthcare setting.
• Proficiency in dental lab techniques and knowledge of dental materials and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity for precise work.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with dental professionals.
